The Arendsig 2011 Wild Yeast Chardonnay is a signal of synergy between terroir and skillful winemaking – complexity on the nose, a pleasing mid palate, and lingering notes of citrus and tropical (pineapple) on aftertaste. French oak barrels are used, but not new wood, which leaves a beautiful integration of variety and wood. Superb wine!
