This wine expresses mineral tones with structure and longevity. A combination of barrel and tank fermentation results in a nose that tends to show tropical fruit, citrus and some subtle herbal/khaki bush characteristics. With time this wine tends to show some oyster and brine characteristics, resulting in a fantastic mineral backbone to yield a wine which ages beautifully over 5 years.

Cape Point Vineyards Chardonnay grapes are grown on the picturesque south-facing Noordhoek slopes in the Peninsula's southern-most vineyards and harvested by hand in the early hours of the morning. This wine presents complex arrays of citrus and apricot flavours, with strong minerality and some subtle toasty notes. This all follows onto a full palate with crisp acids and great length.
