One of the most famous sites in the Cape Winelands, the Spier estate near Stellenbosch proudly offers award-winning wines in the beautiful setting of an historic 1000-hectare wine estate. Our world class four- star Spier Hotel and conference venues, some of which are housed in meticulously restored Cape Dutch buildings, are complemented by one of South Africa’s most comprehensive contemporary art collections. The luxurious hotel overlooks the Helderberg Mountain range and lies besides the calming waters of the Eerste River.
Formed in 1999, Spier wines represents the congregation of two of South Africa’s foremost wineries: Spier and Savanha – all based in the heart of the premier Stellenbosch region. These brands have already achieved both local and international recognition for its quality. Under the leadership of the Managing Director Neville Carew and a dynamic management team, our new generation company is gearing up to become South Africa's wine industry leader.
