Region: 1This small 4 hectare farm was bought in 1997 by the Orpen family. Together with soil analysis and great help from well-known viticulturist Paul Wallace, it was decided to replant with the noble cultivar Shiraz in 1999. This vineyard has a cool and slow ripening period ensuring a rich, fine texture with lovely concentration. The first vintage in 2001 received 4 stars from WINE magazine. In 2002 a brand new wine cellar was built just in time for the 2003 vintage. Keep a close eye on this winery- big things are on their way...
